As a Security Manager, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our organization and ensuring the safety and security of our employees, premises, and assets. You will be responsible for assessing potential risks, implementing security measures, and responding to security incidents. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a secure environment for everyone.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to mitigate risks and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the installation and maintenance of security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems.
• Conduct regular security inspections, audits, and tests to identify potential weaknesses and areas for improvement.
• Train employees on security protocols, emergency response procedures, and crisis management techniques.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services to enhance security and facilitate response in case of emergencies.
• Investigate security breaches, incidents, and complaints, and take appropriate actions to address and prevent recurrences.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and recommend appropriate enhancements to our security program.
• Manage security budgets, contracts, and relationships with external security service providers.
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to promote a culture of security awareness and compliance.

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Security Manager or in a similar security management role.
• In-depth knowledge of security principles, techniques, and technologies.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively manage security teams and interact with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using security software, systems, and tools.
• Sound understanding of surveillance techniques and emergency response protocols.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
• Physical fitness and strength to perform occasional security-related tasks.
• Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Security Manager (CSM) certification is a plus.
